Featured Oceania Zero Solo Supplement Cruise of the Week: Panama to Palms

Oceania Regatta | San Francisco to Miami | April 22 - May 10, 2021

If passing through the Panama Canal is at the top of your bucket list, don't delay in taking advantage of this fantastic and diverse cruise with Oceania! Soak up the sun as you visit the best of Central America while enjoying all the amenities on board the Regatta.

The cruise begins in San Francisco, where you can see iconic sights like the Golden Gate Bridge, the row of Painted Ladies Victorian houses, neighborhoods like the Haight-Ashbury, Lombard Street, and Fisherman's Wharf. Set sail for Catalina Island, the hidden treasure off the coast of California beloved for ages by movie stars like Clark Gable and magnates like William Wrigley Jr. Today, you can stroll along its promenade, tour the island by golf cart, and visit the former Catalina Casino, now a museum and movie theater. Sail next to Ensenada, Mexico, the beautiful Baja city where visitors can swim and sunbathe at the beach, look for pods of grey whales passing by, or visit La Bufadora blowhole, just south of the city. The voyage continues to Cabo San Lucas, a beloved destination for beachgoers, adrenaline junkies, & late-night revelers alike. Visit Lover's Beach and the classic Arch before sailing on to Puerto Vallarta. The calmer cousin of Cabo, visitors can explore its bustling and colorful city center, or make the trek into its verdant jungle for adventurous activities like zip lining.

Next, sail to Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala's largest port. From here, you can make the excursion to Antigua, a UNESCO World Heritage site, whose Spanish Baroque architecture and cobbled streets are sure to delight you. If that's not to your taste, consider visiting volcanic Lake Atitlán and the fascinating Mayan ruins of Tikal instead, and stopping by some coffee farms on the way for a tasting. Sail on to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, a beach front town known for its surfing and turtle population. Visit Puntarenas, Costa Rica, a quiet beachfront town where you can relax on the beach, see its historic Mission-style church, or see wildlife at the aquarium. Then it's on to the main event - passing through the famed Panama Canal. Take your place at the bow of the boat so as to not miss a moment of this iconic crossing through the Isthmus of Panama. After arriving on the other side, the cruise continues to Cartagena, the vibrant capital of Colombia, where you can enjoy its stunning and colorful colonial architecture, sample its legendary cuisine, or enjoy snorkeling and sunbathing at its white sand beaches. Sail on to George Town, the capital and largest city of the Cayman Islands. From here, you can visit the various gorgeous beaches of the island, hike its hills for magnificent vistas, do some duty-free shopping, or scuba dive to visit the sunken USS Kittiwake. The cruise ends in Miami, the iconic city where sandy beaches mix with thriving culture and nightlife.
